Itinerary-
Day: 01 Arrive Delhi and Delhi-Haridwar 225kms; 6hrs drive approx
Upon your arrival at Delhi airport or railway station you are greeted by our tour representative who then drives you down to Haridwar; the gateway to God’s realm. The various Ghats of Haridwar and the various temples dotting the region fill the air around with unmixed divinity. On reaching check into the hotel and later proceed to visualize the awe-inspiring Ganga Aarti at the famed ‘Har-ki-Pauri’ Ghat. Return to hotel dazed and purified, for dinner and night’s stay
Day: 02 Haridwar-Guptakashi 194kms; 8hrs Drive Approx
The next day we leave for Guptakashi post breakfast and on reaching check into the hotel. Guptakashi is well known for the temples of Vishwanath and Ardhanarishvara which visit during our Guptakashi sightseeing tour later during the day. Manikarnika Kund too is included in our Guptakashi sightseeing agenda. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day: 03 Guptakashi-Gaurikund-Kedarnath
The next day early morning we leave for Gaurikund, the famous base camp for Kedarnath Yatra. Myths have it that at Gaurikund, Gauri or Goddess Parvati undertook penance to win the heart of Lord Shiva. Once we reach Gaurikund, we start our trek towards the sacred Kedarnath shrine and the distance to be covered is 14kms. We eat our lunch on the way. Towards the afternoons, we reach the holy Kedarnath shrine. On reaching, check into a hotel, rest for some time, soothe your aching feet and later during the evening visit the Kedarnath shrine to have a Darshan of the deity and partake in the evening Aarti. After Aarti, we also visit the Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya located behind Kedarnath temple.
Day: 04 Kedarnath-Gaurikund-Rudraprayag 14kms trek and 90kms drive
The next day we trek our way back to Gaurikund and from there hit the road towards Rudraprayag. The myths galore and the sacred confluence of River Mandakini and River Alaknanda make Rudraprayag famous on the pilgrimage circuit. On reaching, check into the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day: 05 Rudraprayag-Rishikesh 135kms; 5hrs Drive Approx
The next day after breakfast we leave for Rishikesh, the ‘Yoga Capital’ of the country. On reaching check into a hotel, rest for some time, and then set out to explore some of the holy Ghats and ashrams of Rishikesh. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.
Day: 06 Rishikesh-Delhi 235kms; 6hrs Drive Approx
After breakfast, we leave for Delhi, and on reaching you are directly transferred to the airport/railway station where our representative sees you off and you proceed for your onward journey back home.
