1- Jim Corbett National Park, Uttarakhand
One of the most famous Tiger reserves in north India, it is also home to many other species. Dense thick forests and a stream of waterfall await you. There are also provisions to inhabit quarters inside the complex and experience a safari as close as possible. You can also go for River Rafting on the riverbanks of Kosi.
What to see – Striped Indian Tigers, Hyenas, Spotted Deers, Elephants, Golden Jackals, Parakeets etc.

Once the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Rajasthan, now a famous wildlife reserve, this is also a must go for Tiger sightings. The park also houses many other species of birds and trees too, in fact, the banyan trees are some of the largest in India.
What to see – Tigers, Leopards, Jungle Cats, Indian Fox, Pelicans, Flamingos, Ibis, Egrets etc.
Must do – Visit Ranthambore Fort, Raj Bagh ruins and Padam Talao Lake.

Located near the Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand, this will be perfect if you want to visit the hills and at the same time explore wildlife. However only children above the age of 13 are allowed inside the park!
What to see – Asiatic Bear, Himalayan Deer, Blue Sheep.
Must do – Trek though Nanda Devi Hills, Camping and walk in the Alpine valley.

4- Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, Rajasthan
This UNESCO world heritage site is a must go if you are a bird watcher as many varieties of birds flock the sanctuary during the year. Also known as the Keoladeo National Park, this is a manmade natural reserve made during the construction of Ajan Dam.
What to see – Cranes, Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits, etc
Must do – Visit Bharatpur, Lohagarh and Deeg Palaces and the Bharatpur Museum.

5- Rajaji National Park, Uttarakhand
The Elephant adobe, Rajaji National Park in Uttarakhand is a beautiful reserve also home to other animals. The Ganges bisects the park making it very picturesque. It’s location between the Himalayas makes it ideal for adventure lovers and tourists alike.
