Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kolkata – Delhi – Rishikesh (1,759 km / 31 h)
From Kolkata, you will be transferred to Delhi where upon arrival our tour representative will greet you. You will then be taken to the train station where you will be made to board the train heading towards Rishikesh which will be an overnight journey.
Day 2: Rishikesh – Barkot (200 km / 7 hr)
Famed for being the gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas, you will be reaching the holy town of Rishikesh early in the morning. You will be treated with a light breakfast and taken for a brief sightseeing tour of the city where you will be covering places like – Ram and Lakshman Jhula, Geeta Ashram, Swarg ashram and Sivananda ashram. After the completion of this sightseeing tour, you will be transferred to Barkot which is situated at a distance of 6 to 7 hours.
En route you will be taking a small halt at the famous Kempty falls in Mussoorie. After covering a scenic road trip of 7 hours you will be reaching Barkot and immediately be made to check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (45 km Road / 6 km Trek)
Your visit to the very first dham of Yamunotri will commence early in the morning. Make sure you wake up early so that you complete your darshan on time and return back safely. You will be dropped at Janki Chatti from where your trekking of 6 kms to the main dham shrine will begin. In case you do not want to trek your way to the main temple shrine then there are alternative transportation methods available like pony and palki services, whose charges will be incurred by you.
After the completion of your darshan, you will be made to head back to your hotel in Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Barkot – Uttarkashi (90 km/4 hrs)
Post breakfast you will be made to proceed towards Uttarkashi from Barkot which will be a journey of almost 3 hours. En Route you will be made to visit Prakateshwar Mahadev Mandir. Upon your arrival in Uttarkashi, you will be made to immediately check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4hr)
Your journey to the second dham in the yatra will commence which will be Gangotri Dham. This is a journey of 3 hours and takes you along some of the most scenic and breathtaking views. You will be taken across holy towns of Bhatwari, Gangnani, Harsil and finally the main Gangotri Mandir shrine. After completing the darshan you will be taken back to your hotel in Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi – Srinagar (205 km/ 8 hr)
Early in the morning, you will be made to head towards your next holy destination of Srinagar which is situated at a distance of 8 hours. En route you will be treated with the breathtaking avenues of Tehri dam. Upon your arrival in Srinagar, you will be immediately made to check in to your allotted hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Srinagar – Sitapur (80 km / 4 hr)
Early in the morning, you will be escorted to Sitapur / Phata after a journey of 4 hours. On your way you will be made to witness one of the five confluences of Panch Prayags. You will then be taken to Guptkashi where you will be made to visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Mandir which is emulated from the original temple of Varanasi. Once you reach Sitapur you will be immediately checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Sitapur – Kedarnath – Sitapur (19 km Trek / 6 hrs)
This day you will be made to visit the third and one of the most highly revered dhams of Kedarnath. Early in the morning, you will be taken to Sonprayag / Phata. In case you have opted for a Kedarnath yatra by helicopter then you will be dropped at Phata. Otherwise, you will be taken to Sonprayag from where you will be transferred to Gaurikund in a vehicle. Helicopter booking charges will be incurred all by you. If you choose to trek then your trekking journey will commence from Gaurikund, you can also make use of Doli or palki services that are made available.
After the completion of your darshan at one of the most sacred Jyotirlinga, you will be transferred back to your hotel at Sitapur for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Sitapur – Badrinath (230 km / 9 hr)
You will be made to transfer to your next holy destination of Badrinath early in the morning. After covering a picturesque road journey of 8 – 9 hours you will be reaching the holy town of Badrinath. If time persists you will be made to stop over at the three confluences of the Panch Prayags at Karnaprayag. Upon your arrival in Badrinath, you will be duly checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Badrinath – Pipalkoti (80 km / 4 hr)
Early in the morning your holy and sacred darshan at the Badrinath dham will kick start. You will be made to take holy and refreshing dip in the hot water spring of Tapt Kund before visiting the main temple shrine. If time prevails after your darshan at Badrinath dham you will be taken for a brief sightseeing of the last village in India – Mana village, which is known for its scenic beauty and untouched nature.
You will finally be made to head on towards Pipalkoti which is a journey of 4 hours. Upon your arrival at Pipalkoti, you will be made to check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 11: Pipalkoti – Haridwar – Delhi (220 km /6 hr)
After having covered all the four dhams in devbhoomi, Uttarakhand you will be transferred to Haridwar. Upon arriving at Haridwar you will be made to be a part of the Ganga aarti and you will also be made to take a holy dip in the pious Ganga water. After this you will be transferred to Delhi via an overnight bus journey.
Day 12: Delhi Departure
You will be reaching Delhi from Haridwar early in the morning which will mark the end of your char dham yatra journey with us. You will then be free to head on towards your desired destination.
