Tour Itinerary
Day 01 – Pathankot – Dharamshala:
Arrive at Pathankot railway station. Volvo bus is arranged by the tour that will take you to Dharamshala that takes approximately 2 hrs. Check in details is done by our representatives. Enjoy free time in the morning; enjoy a luxurious dinner and overnight staying facilities are arranged by the tour at Dharamshala.
Day 02 – Dharamshala:
Have breakfast at Dharamshala hotel and get ready to visit the residential place of the Dalai Lama at McLeodganj H.H. At the beginning of McLeodganj there is small bazaar that is filled with a variety of Tibetan artifacts and handicrafts. In the end of the village is the spur that lied within the Namgyal Monastery. The walls on the exteriors are surrounded with prayer wheels. There is a Buddha idol placed inside the monastery. Later visit marvelous St. John Church located here which is the final resting location of the British Viceroy during the 19th century, Lord Elgin. Besides these we are going to take a quick tour to the ancient temples such as Brijeshwari, Jwalamukhi and Chamunda that lies near the plains of Dharamshala. Overnight staying facilities and dinner arrangements are made by the tour.
Day 03 – Dharamshala – Dalhousie:
Travel from Dharamshala to Dalhousie located at a distance of about 130 km and takes approximately 4 hrs. It is a marvelous location shrouded with rivulets, spring, waterfalls and wooden hills. Dalhousie has a touch of colonial architecture to the local houses that take you back to the flavors of the bygone era. Check into the hotel. Enjoy overnight staying facilities.
Day 04 – Dalhousie:
After breakfast tourist are requested to get ready for sightseeing Dalhousie. Its adorable colonial architecture attracts you the most; even there are some beautiful churches that are worth to visit. Day 05 – Dalhousie:
Travel to Khajjiar, which is also called as Switzerland of India, as it offers thick forests, fringes, snow line crests and deodar tress surrounded around the region. The small lake spread near the mountain reflects similar to a green carpet. It is often called as a glacial bowl which is formed from the Himalayan ice age. Later visit Khajjiar sanctuary and then proceed to Chamba located near the banks of Ravi River. It is popular for its splendid architecture. Overnight facilities including Dinner are arranged by the tour.
Day 06 – Dalhousie – Pathankot:
Have breakfast at Dalhousie and get ready to check out from the hotel. Our representatives will help you to transfer to the nearest railway station or airport. Tour ends here with sweet memories.
