Tour Itinerary
Day 01 | Arrival to Cochin
Get ready for an exotic trip of Kerala it will make your mind refreshed and amused. Get a warm welcome on your arrival at cochin railway station/airport by one of our representative and he will take you transfer to the hotel in Cochin.
Cochin: -Cochin is one of the prime destinations of Kerala Tourism. This city is also known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”, and the second largest city of Kerala.
On reaching to the hotel check-in and refresh yourself by taking a bath, Enjoy welcome drink.
After relaxing couple of hours, get ready to go for a half day sightseeing, the attractions of Cochin like- Chinese Fishing Net, Fort Kochi, Dutch Palace & St. Francis church.
Chinese Fishing Net: – This is located at Fort Kochi, and you can also see it from Marine Drive too, this is also known as the “Cheena Vala” which is an extraordinary and exceptional method of fishing operated from the beach without entering into the water. Apart from China Cochin is the only place where Chinese Fishing Nets are used outside of China.
Dutch Palace: – Dutch Palace includes life size portraits of King of cochin, royal umbrellas, an ivory palanquin, a howdah, coins, royal clothes, stamps etc. Overnight stay at Hotel in Cochin.
Day 02 | Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast take a transfer to Munnar which is approximately 155 KMs journey and will take time around 5 hours.
Munnar is a small but delightful hi station where the “3 rivers” are situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Muthirappu, Nallathanni and Kundala. The temperature stays in winter between 6°C to 23°C, and 14°C to 25 °C in summer. Munnar is also known for various tropical plantations of tea, cardamom, coffee, and other spices, dark forests and wildlife sanctuaries.
On reaching to Munnar just check-in to your pre-booked hotel, take a bath or relax yourself, welcome drink will be offered at the comfort of your room, rest of the day is free leisure time. Enjoy your dinner & take a overnight stay at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 03 | Munnar Sightseeing
Check-out after having your breakfast, you will be on sightseeing of Munnar- the places you will visit- Rajamalai National Park, Mattupetty and Top Station.
Rajamalai National Park:- This park is also known as the Eravikulam National Park- it is situated in Idukki – which is also the bordering district of Kerela and Tamil Nadu.
Mattupetty: – is an exceptionally pleasing hill station- situated at the distance of 13 KMs from Munnar at an altitude of 1700 Meters above sea level.
Top Station: – is situated at the distance of 40 KMs from Munnar at an altitude of 1700 Meters above sea level. It is house of some of the highest tea plantation in India.
Later in evening take a drive to hotel, enjoy your meal and stay overnight in Hotel at Munnar.
Day 04 | Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast take a transfer to Thekkady- it will take approx 120 K.M./ 4 hours of journey. On reaching to Thekkady check-in to your hotel, enjoy welcome drink after hotel check-in.
Thekkady is located approx 4000ft above sea level, and 260 KM from Trivandrum. Thekkady is an exciting destination for animal lovers; here you can see wildlife from a closer point.
After relaxing a while get ready to visit- Periyar National Park, Periyar Tiger Reserve.
Periyar National Park: – Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary (PNP) is a protected area in the districts of Idukki. It is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in South India. It is spread in more than 780 sq. K.M. You can see here lots of rare varieties of animals like- Elephants, Tigers, Sambar, Gaur, Nilgiri Langurs, and lion-tailed Macaques.
After finishing your sightseeing take a drive back to your hotel and enjoy your night meal, overnight stay at hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05 | Thekkady to Cochin (Departure)
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel, Check-out from your hotel and take a transfer to Cochin Railway St./ Airport, for your scheduled onwards journey. Best Time to Visit
For anyone interested in visiting the valley, the first question is “when to visit Kashmir, India” or the ideal time to visit the Kashmir valley.
