Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

As you land at the Delhi international Airport, you will feel India everywhere. Open your eyes to see the first view of Delhi, the capital city of India. Travel Tour Guru representative will be waiting outside at the airport lounge to welcome you to your Rajasthan Forts and Sands Tour.

You will be directly driven to the hotel already booked for you by Travel Tour Guru.

Enjoy the roadside tree lined surroundings of Delhi. You will surprise to see various trees on the roadside of Delhi.

Travel Tour Guru representative will do all the check-in formalities. Take rest at the hotel to shed the fatigue of the flight journey.

If you arrive at Delhi in the morning than we treat you a delicious lunch at a famous eatery in Delhi where you can have your own choice.

Afternoon you can do anything according to your choice. You can visit the National Museum and Art gallery.  Just halt at any place you like. Catch the best view of Delhi and its various spirits.

After dinner overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-02: Delhi Sightseeing

Have your breakfast and get ready for sightseeing in Delhi. The representative of Travel Tour Guru will introduce you to our tour guide who will take care of your sightseeing in Delhi.

Delhi has two parts-New Delhi and Old Delhi. First you will explore the monuments of New Delhi like the India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, etc. Drive past the President’s residence which is the most beautiful area of Delhi having a look of the government buildings, memorials of the great nationalities of the Nation.

After lunch you will visit Old Delhi. Visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia and the Red Fort, the red sand stone architecture, and Chandni Chowk, the oldest market of Delhi. Last you will visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi located amidst lush gardens. Pay your homage to the Father of the Nation.  In the evening you can enjoy a light and show program at the Red Fort.

Day 03: Delhi– Jaipur (258 kms-5 hours drive)

On the 3rd day of Rajasthan Forts and Sands Tour you will be driven towards Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Travel Tour Guru will assist you from checking out of the hotel to luggage transfer.

As you arrive at the pink city of Rajasthan you will be taken to the hotel of your choice booked by us.  Rest for a while. Travel Tour Guru offers you a lunch at a famous restaurant in Jaipur. After lunch you will explore the pink monuments of Jaipur city–Hawa Mahal, the five-storey pink palace of winds, Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories of India represent the medieval astronomy, City Palace, the sandstone gorgeous architecture having collections of the maharajas at the museum, Birla Mandir, etc.

You can pick up souvenirs and other things from Jaipur market as it is always famous for its handicrafts and precious stones.

If you are a movie buff enjoy a movie at the famous and biggest Raj Mandir cinema hall of Jaipur.

Have dinner of your choice. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.

Day 04: Jaipur–Sariska (107 kms-2 hours)

In the early morning you will visit Amber Fort located at the top of a hill at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur. Our representative will take you to this grand fort of Jaipur. Elephant rides are available to the fort, and it is a great fun to the tourists to climb the hill on an elephant back. The picturesque setting of Amber Fort will mesmerize you. Explore minutely its interiors and exteriors. It is undoubted a worth visiting site in Jaipur.

Then pack your luggage and start your drive to Sariska National Park located in Alwar district of Rajasthan. You will be accommodated at a jungle lodge at Sariska. Sariska National Park is a home to wide variety of wildlife animals and birds. Indian Government started the Project Tiger in 1979 at Sariska.

In the afternoon you will enjoy a jeep safari through the park to spot the wild animals. You will spot sure Sambars, Chital, Nilgais, Chausinghas, Jackals, Wild boars, langurs, etc. You might be lucky to spot a tiger at Sariska.

The jungle hotel offers a rustic ambience with all modern amenities. Enjoy your evening dinner.

Day 05: Sariska–Mandawa (250 kms- 5 hours)

In the morning you will again enjoy a wildlife safari through the park. A naturalist will guide you to spot the wild animals.

Then you will start your move towards Mandawa located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Travel Tour Guru offers you a lunch at a heritage hotel in Mandawa.

After lunch you can explore the havelis of the Mandawa city once the residence of the rich merchants. Some of the havelis are still private property of the descendants. The havelis of Mandawa are well decorated with frescoes depicting the mythological themes of Indian scriptures.

After dinner stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Mandawa–Bikaner (200 kms-4 hours)

Have your breakfast and start exploring the forts and havelis of the neighbouring site of Mandawa and Dundlod.

Then you will get ready fro your next drive to Bikaner, the camel desert city of Rajasthan. This city is located on the ancient caravan route that links India to west and central Asia. It is said that the desert beauty best blooms in Bikaner.

On arrival you will take your previously booked hotel. You can enjoy camel ride or horse ride through the roads of Bikaner. Enjoy the sunset at the sand dunes.

Day 07: Bikaner Sightseeing

After breakfast you will start your Bikaner sightseeing tour. Bikaner is one of the most visited cities in Rajasthan known for its forts, temples and sand dunes.

You will visit the Junagarh Fort made of red sandstone and marble during 1571 to 1611 AD. This fort is decked with kiosks and balconies. Visit also Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum, Devi Kund, Shiv Bari Temple and Havelis of Bikaner, Lallgarh Palace. The most enchanting will be your visit to Karni Mata temple at Deshnoke; you will surprise to see thousands of rats worshipped by the devotees.

Also visit the Camel Breeding Farm, the largest in Asia to see its camel rearing. The entire environ will thrill you.

Before evening you can explore the villages of Bikaner on a camel ride.

After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Bikaner – Khimsar (150 kms-3 hours)

Wake up at your own time and have your breakfast. Check out the hotel and drive to Khimsar enroute visiting Nagaur Fort.

On arrival you will take your hotel booked by Travel Tour Guru for you.

Legend says that he Jain Saint Mahaveer Khimsar founded Khimsar in 2500 years ago. It is gateway to the great Indian Thar Desert. Entering into Khimsar you will see its rustic villages and san dunes.

Explore the Khimsar villages and interact with the locals. Explore the Khimsar Fort that has been converted into a heritage hotel.

Travel Tour Guru will offer you a theme dinner at this Khimsar Fort heritage hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day-09: Khimsar-Jodhpur (90 kms-2 hours)-Delhi (606kms-12 hours) By overnight train

Early morning you will be drive to Jodhpur. On the way you will visit the famous Osian Jain temples known for their architectural marvels and the royal cenotaphs at Mandore.

While you reach Jodhpur Travel Tour Guru will offer you lunch at a hotel. After lunch you will explore the sightseeing in Jodhpur. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and Sadar Market. In the evening you will board your train to Delhi.

Day-10: Delhi-Departure

Your Rajasthan Forts and Sands Tour will come to an end. You will reach Delhi today. Travel Tour Guru representative will settle you at a Delhi hotel for half-day stay. Refresh here.
