Our country India has many holy rivers flowing through it and two such significantly sacred rivers are River Ganga and River Yamuna. These two rivers are looked upon as mother Goddesses and have numerous temples dedicated to them. Yamunotri Dham and Gangotri Dham in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district are the two most important temples dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and Goddess Ganga respectively. A do Dham Yatra of these two Dham will take you on a quest of the divine. So, set out today….

Itinerary-

Day 1: Haridwar to Syana Chatti

Upon your arrival at Haridwar, you will be greeted by our tour representative who then escorts you towards Hanuman chatty, a serene, scenic location on the confluence of River Yamuna and River Hanuman Ganga. On the way to Hanuman chatty we halt at Mussoorie, a scenic hill station of Uttarakhand for our lunch. From Mussorie we head directly towards Syanachatti, a calm and quiet place on Yamunotri-Barkot road. On reaching Syana chatty, we check into the hotel for dinner and for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Syana-chatty – Yamunotri – Syana chatty

The next day early in the morning we start our trek towards Yamunotri. On reaching the Yamunotri Dham, we pay a Darshan to the temple of the Goddess and offer Puja after which we trek back to Syanachatty. On reaching, we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Sayanachatty – Uttarkashi

Next morning post breakfast we leave for Uttarkashi, a picture-perfect town set amid the stunning Garhwal Himalayas. On reaching check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Uttarkashi-Gangotri 99kms; 2hrs approx

The next day we depart for the auspicious Gangotri Dham. On reaching we check into a hotel, freshen up, and later in the evening proceed to pay a Darshan and offer Puja at the temple of Goddess Ganga at Gangotri. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 5: Gangotri – Uttarkashi 99kms; 2hrs approx

The next day after breakfast we drive our way back to Uttarkashi. On reaching check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi-Haridwar 237kms; 7hrs drive approx

The next day we depart for Haridwar. On reaching you are transferred directly to Haridwar station where our representative sees you off and you proceed on your onward journey back home.
